Think Inspirational Thoughts
“Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.” ~ Seneca
Affirmations and inspirational thoughts – are they the tools that successful people use?
There are some folks out there – and we’ve all met some of them – who just seem to come out of the most challenging of situations with a rose between their teeth. Are you one of them? Do you know someone like that?
When we observe these people always landing on their feet, always experiencing fortune over difficulty, always knowing the right people, being in the right place at the right time, we think “That guy is so lucky!” I think it’s more because they think inspirational thoughts.
The word luck defines circumstances that lead to a positive outcome. Do you think there is an outside force that generates luck and thrusts it at certain people and not at others? Or do you think that certain people know how to generate lucky circumstances and others do not?
It would be unreasonable to think that universal laws don’t apply to everyone, so there must be something that certain people know that generates lucky circumstances. One of the things of which every one of us is capable is the ability to think. And one of the things that so-called lucky people think are called “Affirmations.”
Affirmations (words of inspiration) are positive thoughts that, when repeated often, begin to program the mind into thinking that 1) a particular result is possible and that 2) if you think the specific thoughts to match the results you want, and you expect results, that result will eventually manifest itself in your life’s experience.
Affirmations are invisible. You never see those so-called lucky people thinking them! Trust me, those affirmations are the work that make those people appear lucky. You can become one of the lucky people and manifest your desires at will if you’ll begin to use daily affirmations.
Affirmations are always in present tense because if you think them in the future, they’ll never happen.
- Present Tense: I am wealthier now than ever before and my wealth always increases.
- Future Tense: Great wealth is on its way to me.
Affirmations always affirm something bigger than your current circumstances.
- I am the CEO of my new company and I’m surrounded by brilliant, hard-working people who help me make my dreams come true for the greater good of all concerned.
If you want a general improvement in your life, use general affirmations.
- I expect my life to get better and better.
If you want specific results, the words in the affirmation should be specific.
- I have new, positive-minded friends who help me find a new job.
Don’t be afraid to use daily affirmations to acheive your greatest goods. We live in an abundant universe and no one is excluded. But the “lucky” ones know how to magnetize the good toward themselves. They think inspirational thoughts and speak words of inspiration. And now, you’re one of them.
“I’m a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more I have of it.” ~ Thomas Jefferson
