In this sixth of a series of six articles, an International Change Coach will explain the last step necessary to become the change you wish to see in your life. You will learn how to plan the next step to improve so that you can create the success you dream about.
6. Planning The Next Step
If you get to a place where you are either finished achieving your Big Dream, or where you can no longer see the next step, my recommendation to you is to go back to the beginning and draft another Big Dream for yourself. I’m quite confident there is more than one dream inside you, isn’t there?
Read some books about the topic you hold dear to your heart. Do some internet research and find out how others in the same line of work are completing their Big Dream. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery. Incorporate their methods using your own flair. I personally find the internet a grand source of inspiration for me. I write down the breakout steps I can see. Then, I do some internet research and start planning the next step. I can always find more ways to fill in the blanks and keep me moving forward.
Extend your thinking into revising your first Big Dream and make it larger than you had originally thought of. Listen to your dreams – the ones you have while sleeping. When you are working on your Big Dream, it’s often my experience that this enters into your dream state at night and ideas will arise in your dreams – perhaps those very next steps you thought you couldn’t see. Keep a pad of paper and a pen next to your bed at night and write the ideas down before they slip away.
You can become the change you want to see in your life. You can improve your current state, and then create the success you’ve always dreamed about. I salute you for your planning the next step. I applaud your progress. This is the last in a series of six articles.
